Prime Minister Gordon Brown paid tribute to the NHS and the nursing profession. He believes that nursing has made a difference in the world. He also shared his experience which forced him to believe that the NHS was a worthy institute. He said that when he was young he got injured and was admitted in the hospital

The services that were rendered at that time was appreciable. The caring attitude and equal importance to every patient was unforgettable. The Prime Minister presented the Chief Nursing Office’s Award at the Annual Nursing Times Award. The award was given to Nick Shaughnessy of Partnerships in Care who is a lead nurse at Arbury Court in Warrington.
