Ohio Department of Aging has started a survey in Dayton area nursing area. The results will be shown on itcohi.com.The survey followed a new nursing home rating system which was released last week. It was finished among the five states in the nation. It was finished in the five star rating which was started by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Consumers should check the ratings, if they are going for admitting their loved ones. The survey also asked family members for opinions services such as activities, direct care and nursing, laundry, meals and therapy too. It was conducted between June and December 2008 by the Scripps Gerontology Center of Miami University which was on behalf of the Ohio Department of Aging. Amazingly 24,500 family members have taken participation in that survey.
