Fifteen members of high school’s Health Occupation Students of America club visited the college of nursing and healthcare. Even students of Middleburg High School got a closer look of the health care training on visiting St. Johns River Community College’s Orange Park campus.
During the tour the students were shown demonstrations of the human patients and the ways to cure minute problems like breathing problem, intravenous medication and ventilation. Most of the students were shocked to see the technologies that they have today. Most of them were keen to join the college’s nursing program. Even the HOSA club’s president Lynn Morgan is applying for the college’s nursing program in the fall.
