The shortage of nursing has increased till now. The shortfall predicted in 1998 has become a crisis which has no solution. In 200 the gap between supply and demand for RNs was estimated at 110,800 full-time employees. This shortage was predicted to increase by 2020. The combination of few jobs and few job seekers occurred to overcome the shortage of nurses. It resulted to a 31 percent downfall in nursing enrollment from 1995 to 1999. CommentsLeave a Reply |
