The state government has spent 20 lakhs for transforming a medical student into a full fledged doctor. It has been noted that most doctors after getting their degrees are not ready to serve in their respective state but prefer going abroad. This occurs with huge loss for the country.

H. Halappa, minister for food and civil said that the government has recruited 800 new doctors and only 400 have accepted the appointment orders. Nursing profession ahs enormous job potential both in India and abroad and they play vital roles in the health delivery system.
